**Hyderabad, April 11, 2025** – Lulu International Shopping Malls has officially acquired Manjeera Mall in Hyderabad’s Kukatpally area, following a National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) ruling. The NCLT Hyderabad bench approved Lulu’s resolution plan on Thursday, April 10th, ending a corporate insolvency resolution process.

Manjeera Mall, owned by industrialist-turned-BJP leader G. Yoganand, had defaulted on loans totaling ₹317.30 crore. After a competitive bidding process involving 49 suitors, Lulu’s offer of ₹318.42 crore was accepted by the Committee of Creditors and subsequently approved by the NCLT.

Lulu initially operated as a tenant within Manjeera Mall before ultimately acquiring its competitor. This acquisition marks a significant development in Hyderabad’s retail landscape.
