**Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, April 11, 2025** – In a boost to Guntur’s cleanliness drive, the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) donated 50 pushcarts to the Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) on Friday. The donation ceremony, held in the presence of GMC Commissioner Puli Srinivasulu, several MLAs, and TMB General Manager Ashok Kumar, aims to improve sanitation infrastructure and accelerate the city’s efforts towards achieving 100% door-to-door garbage collection.

Acting Mayor Shaik Sajila appealed to citizens and businesses to support the city’s cleanliness mission, emphasizing the importance of public participation in achieving the Chief Minister’s vision of a garbage-free Guntur. Commissioner Srinivasulu expressed gratitude to TMB for their contribution under the Swarnandhra-Swachhandhra initiative.

MLAs lauded TMB’s involvement, highlighting the positive impact of private-public partnerships in strengthening civic infrastructure and furthering the Chief Minister’s inclusive development model (P-4). TMB’s General Manager reiterated the bank’s commitment to supporting the GMC’s public health initiatives.
