Fri Apr 11 09:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Sixteen New Restaurants Added to the 2025 Michelin Guide New York

**New York, NY** – The Michelin Guide has just released its 2025 New York edition, featuring sixteen exciting new additions to its recommended restaurant list. These eateries, while not yet awarded stars or Bib Gourmand recognition, represent a diverse range of cuisines and styles, promising exciting culinary experiences for New Yorkers and visitors alike.

The newcomers include a revival of a West Village institution, Harold Moore’s contemporary American restaurant (with French and Italian influences) on the Upper East Side; Chalong, offering Southern Thai cuisine; and Chez Fifi, a popular Upper East Side French restaurant known for its difficult-to-secure reservations. Other notable additions span various cuisines and neighborhoods: Crane Club (steakhouse with noteworthy breads and pasta), Crevette (seafood destination), Field Guide (modern American in Williamsburg), Heroes (Soho eatery with a strong wine selection), and an Indian restaurant in the Theater District specializing in Hyderabad cuisine.

Further enriching the culinary landscape are Il Gigante (Italian-American in Ridgewood, Queens), La Dong (Vietnamese in Union Square), Daniel Boulud’s new Park Avenue steakhouse, Ly Ly Vietnam Cookhouse (UES), Michael White’s Mediterranean restaurant in Midtown, Sempre Oggi (pasta-focused), Sinsa (Korean wine bar in the East Village), and Smithereens (East Village seafood joint).

While not yet star-rated, these restaurants offer a promising array of culinary adventures, adding to the already vibrant New York City dining scene. The Michelin Guide will announce its star awards later this year, and many anticipate these new additions will be among the contenders.
