**Guwahati, Assam –** The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) today declared the results of the HSLC (Class 10) examinations, revealing an overall pass percentage of 63.98%. A total of 4,22,737 students appeared for the exam, with 6,712 absentees and 101 students expelled. The results of 22 candidates were withheld.
Boys outperformed girls, achieving a pass rate of 67.59% compared to 61.09% for girls. Amishi Saikia from Pragya Academy secured the top rank with 98.50%, followed by Saptarswa Bordoloi (98.33%) and Anirban Borgohain (98.17%).
Sivasagar district topped the list of best performing regions with an 85.55% pass rate, followed by Dibrugarh (81.10%), Dhemaji (80.64%), Jorhat (79.61%), and Nalbari (78.40%).
Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced the results on X (formerly Twitter). Students can access their results on the SEBA official website using their login credentials, via the NDTV website, or through the official SEBA mobile app.
