**Hyderabad:** Pradeep Machiraju, known for his anchoring career and his debut film “30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela,” is set to star in his second Telugu film, “Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi” (A Girl There, A Boy Here). The film, directed by Nitin and Bharat, features Deepa Pilli as the female lead and is slated for release this Friday.
At a recent press meet, Pradeep addressed questions about the film’s unique approach, avoiding the typical commercial formula. He stated that while aiming for originality takes time, his focus is on delivering story-driven films with growing audience support. He emphasized his belief in the film’s narrative.
The film’s title and promotional strategy have also generated buzz. While the title was decided two years ago, the team unexpectedly collaborated with Ram Charan for a ticket launch. Charan’s positive feedback on the title further fueled the publicity.
The team also addressed the coincidental timing of the release with Ram Charan’s upcoming film, “Pedda,” utilizing the tagline “Pedda for Pradeep,” a phrase reportedly coined by Ram Charan himself.
Regarding the casting choices, Pradeep clarified that there was no deliberate plan to select Deepa Pilli, a fellow television personality. He emphasized that the team comprised individuals passionate about the project, highlighting Deepa’s compelling portrayal of a village girl with a touch of arrogance. Deepa expressed confidence in the film’s appeal to audiences.
