**Chennai, April 11, 2025** – R. Chandrasekar, a prominent functionary of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and publisher of the party’s mouthpiece, *Namadhu Puratchithalaivi Amma*, has resigned from the party. Chandrasekar, who also held a senior position in the MGR youth wing, cited personal reasons for his departure. In a statement, he thanked AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami, senior leader S.P. Velumani, and party workers for their support over the past 20 years of his involvement.
