**Bengaluru, India** – Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), India’s largest defense equipment manufacturer and supplier, reported a significant increase in profits for fiscal year 2024 (FY24). The company, boasting a market capitalization exceeding ₹2.63 lakh crore, announced a profit of ₹7621 crore, a 30.77% jump from ₹5828 crore in FY23.
Founded in 1940 as Hindustan Aircraft Limited by Walchand Hirachand of the Walchand Group in collaboration with the Mysore Kingdom’s Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV, HAL has a rich history.
