**Mumbai, India (April 10, 2025)** – Andhra Pradesh’s Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh is urging South Asian hoteliers to invest in the state’s burgeoning hospitality sector. Speaking at the Hotel Investment Conference-South Asia (HICSA) in Mumbai, Minister Durgesh highlighted the state government’s commitment to supporting investors with attractive incentives and subsidies. The state is specifically targeting investment in luxury hotels and resorts in key cities such as Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Amaravati, and Rajamahendravaram.
Minister Durgesh met with representatives from major hotel groups including Marriott, IHG, Hilton, and Lemon Tree, promoting Andhra Pradesh’s diverse tourism offerings: pristine beaches, backwaters, cultural heritage sites, temples, and lush landscapes.
