Thu Apr 10 07:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Telangana Extends Deadline for Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme, Receives Overwhelming Response

**Hyderabad, [Date]** – The Telangana government’s Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme, aimed at providing financial assistance to unemployed youth from SC, ST, BC, minority, and EBC communities, has received an overwhelming response. Initially slated to close on April 4th, the deadline has been extended to April 14th, 2025, allowing more applicants to access the program.

As of Sunday, over 9 lakh applications have been received across the state, with officials anticipating a total of 20 lakh applications by the extended deadline. The scheme offers subsidies and bank loans to help young people start their own businesses. Applicants are flocking to Mee Seva centers and internet centers to apply, leading to a surge in applications for new caste and income certificates. However, officials clarified that existing certificates issued after 2016 are acceptable, and a ration card or food security card suffices; a new income certificate is not required.

Helpline centers have been established at public service centers in mandals and municipalities to provide information and assistance. Applications will be screened at the mandal and district levels until May 31st, with selected beneficiaries sent to district collectors for approval. Loan disbursement is scheduled for June 2nd. Applicants are urged to accurately enter their bank account details. Bank consent letters are mandatory for eligibility.

Applications can be submitted online at https://tgobmms.cgg.gov.in/ or offline at MPDO offices (mandals) or commissioner offices (municipalities). The scheme’s popularity underscores the significant need for employment opportunities among Telangana’s youth.
