**London, October 24, 2024** – Raymond James Financial, Inc. has announced two significant leadership appointments. Doug Brigman will become president of Asset Management Services (AMS), effective October 1st, succeeding Erik Fruland who is retiring after 34 years with the firm. Separately, Michelle Lynch has been appointed senior vice president of practice management and growth consulting, a newly created role, effective May 5th.

Brigman, a Raymond James veteran since 2008, brings extensive experience to his new role. His previous positions include chief administrative officer of AMS, president of Raymond James Insurance Group, and various leadership roles within the firm. He will oversee the advancement of the firm’s fee-based platform, focusing on investment solutions and advisor support. Brigman holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and is a certified financial planner.

Lynch, who joined Raymond James in 2004, currently serves as Tampa Bay complex manager. In her new position, she will focus on enhancing support for financial advisors throughout their business lifecycle, from practice building to succession planning. Lynch also holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

These appointments represent a strategic move by Raymond James to strengthen its leadership team and further support its financial advisors and clients. Fruland’s retirement marks the end of a long and distinguished career at the firm.
