HYDERABAD, April 10, 2025 – Shakeel Aamir Mohammed, former MLA of Bodhan, returned to Hyderabad from Dubai this morning to attend his mother’s funeral. A Look Out Circular (LoC) had been issued for Aamir following a case involving his son, Raheel Aamir, who allegedly rammed a car into a police barricade in December 2023. Aamir was accused of assisting his son in evading arrest.
Upon arrival at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, immigration officials identified the LoC and notified local police. However, after verifying a prior request for permission to attend the funeral, authorities allowed Aamir to travel to Bodhan. Police stated that while he was permitted to attend the funeral on humanitarian grounds, he is required to appear for questioning at the Panjagutta police station at a later date.
