**Hyderabad, April 9, 2025** – Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has pledged to prevent the BJP from gaining a foothold in Telangana, reaffirming the Congress party’s commitment to fighting divisive politics. Addressing the AICC meeting in Ahmedabad, he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of promoting an ideology of hatred and contrasted it with Rahul Gandhi’s focus on peace and love.
Reddy highlighted the Telangana government’s progress on promises made during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, including the waiver of ₹21,000 crore in crop loans for 25 lakh families within ten months. He also emphasized the completion of a caste census in Telangana, contrasting it with the BJP’s policies, which he criticized as harmful to farmers and indigenous communities. He accused Modi of instigating violence in Manipur and enacting “black laws” against farmers.
Reddy went on to call BJP leaders “more dangerous than the British,” vowing to defeat the BJP in Telangana and urging support for Rahul Gandhi nationally. He also underscored the historical ties between Telangana and Gujarat, referencing Sardar Patel’s role in Hyderabad’s integration with India.
