**Hyderabad, April 9, 2025** – The Telangana government has extended the term of N.V.S. Reddy as Managing Director of both Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) and Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) for another year, effective April 1, 2025. The decision, announced Tuesday by Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) principal secretary M. Dana Kishore, cites Reddy’s crucial role in the ongoing Phase-II Metro Rail project. With Phase-II(B) currently in the planning stages, the government believes Reddy’s continued involvement is vital for the projects’ successful implementation.
