Colleagues described their acts of kindness, such as helping elderly women cross the street and ensuring their colleagues were cared for. Saleh, another victim, had recently returned to work after being injured in a previous attack by Israeli forces.
The attack has sparked international outrage. The PRCS has condemned the killings as a war crime, calling for an independent investigation and accountability for the perpetrators. The surviving witness account confirms that Assaad al-Nassasra was captured alive, his current whereabouts and condition unknown.
