**Kalaburagi, Karnataka, April 9, 2025** – Against the backdrop of challenging socioeconomic circumstances, three students from Karnataka have achieved remarkable success in the recently concluded II PU (Pre-University) examinations. L.R. Sanjana Bai secured first rank in the Arts stream with 597 out of 600 marks, while K. Nirmala secured second rank with 596 marks. Nagaveni Raichur secured fifth rank, also in the Arts stream.
Sanjana Bai, daughter of a lorry driver, overcame financial difficulties with the help of her college, which waived her tuition fees. Nirmala, daughter of a divorced agricultural worker, received support from her family who worked tirelessly on their small plot of land. Nagaveni Raichur, daughter of a construction worker and a domestic help, worked part-time to contribute to her education and benefited from scholarships and teacher support.
Their achievements highlight the resilience and determination of these students who persevered despite significant financial hurdles. The results were celebrated at their respective colleges, a testament to the inspiration their success provides.
