**GURUGRAM, INDIA –** A dramatic confrontation in Gurugram’s Basai Enclave left a cab driver injured after he caught his wife with her lover. According to police, the lover, identified as Naveen, assaulted the husband, Mausam, with the butt of a pistol after being discovered on Monday morning.
Mausam, a resident of Jhajjar, Haryana, reported that he found his wife with Naveen on their terrace. The altercation escalated when Naveen allegedly threatened Mausam, referencing a recent, gruesome murder in Meerut where a husband was killed and his body disposed of by his wife and her lover.
After neighbours intervened, the couple fled the scene. Mausam, who married his wife two years ago despite family objections, has filed a police complaint. Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and launched a manhunt for Naveen. The investigation is ongoing.
