**Madurai, April 8, 2025** – The water level in the Mullaperiyar dam currently stands at 113.90 feet, significantly below its maximum permissible level of 142 feet, according to a report released today. Inflow is recorded at 493 cusecs, with a discharge of 105 cusecs. Meanwhile, the Vaigai dam level is at 56.89 feet (maximum 71 feet), with an inflow of 516 cusecs and a discharge of 72 cusecs.
