**Hyderabad, April 8, 2025** – Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, D. Sridhar Babu, stressed the importance of equipping the state’s youth with cutting-edge skills to meet the demands of evolving industries. Addressing a review meeting at the Young India Skills University in Hyderabad on Monday, Minister Babu highlighted the need for graduates to be industry-ready upon completion of their studies.

The Minister lauded the potential of Telangana’s youth and emphasized the transformative power of targeted training aligned with market needs, enabling them to compete on a global scale. He advocated for continuous collaboration between the university and industry stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance and reflect real-world industry requirements.

The government, according to a press release from the Minister’s office, is fully committed to developing a highly skilled workforce in Telangana. Minister Babu outlined a strategic plan to establish the state as a center for skilled human resources. He instructed the university to collaborate with key state institutions, including prominent educational and research centers, TASK, and the Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana, to create a robust ecosystem.

The review meeting was attended by Special Chief Secretary-IT and Industries Jayesh Ranjan and Vice-Chancellor Subba Rao.
