VISAKHAPATNAM, Andhra Pradesh – Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has ordered an inquiry into allegations that his convoy disrupted the JEE Main examination for several students in Pendurthi on Monday. Four students reportedly missed the exam due to traffic delays allegedly caused by the convoy.

While the students claimed they were late because of roadblocks created by the Deputy CM’s security detail, the ACP of Visakhapatnam West Sub Division, Pṛthvītej, refuted these claims, stating that no traffic restrictions were imposed on service roads. The inquiry will investigate the duration of any traffic halts, traffic conditions near the examination center, and whether service roads were kept open. The investigation will be conducted by Visakhapatnam police.

The incident occurred at the Chinamushidiwada IYAN Digital exam center, where the JEE Main exam was being conducted. While the students were expected to arrive by 8:30 AM, the alleged traffic congestion prevented their timely arrival, leading to their disqualification.
