Tue Apr 08 12:34:07 UTC 2025: ## Telangana Launches Pilot Slot Booking System for Property Registrations
**Hyderabad, April 8, 2025** – The Telangana government announced a pilot program to streamline property document registration, introducing a slot booking system at 22 sub-registrar offices starting April 10th. The initiative aims to reduce registration time to 10-15 minutes.
Currently, there are 144 sub-registrar offices across the state. The pilot program will initially cover offices in Hyderabad, Sangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Pedapalli, Khammam, and other districts. Citizens can book slots online at registration.telangana.gov.in (available in a few days). A total of 48 slots will be available daily at each participating office, with five additional walk-in slots from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
To further expedite the process, the government will introduce Aadhaar e-signatures by the end of April, eliminating the need for manual signatures. A new online module will also assist citizens in preparing sale deeds, reducing reliance on external assistance. The government is also working on amendments to address the issue of double property registration. Revenue (Registration & Stamps) Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy revealed these details at a press conference.
