**Jaipur, April 8, 2025** – Dadi Ratan Mohini, the spiritual leader and chief administrator of the Brahma Kumaris, passed away early Tuesday at a private hospital in Ahmedabad, India. She was 100 years old.

Dadi Mohini, who had been unwell for the past week, was transferred from Abu Road, Rajasthan, to Ahmedabad after her condition worsened. Her 100th birthday was celebrated just two weeks prior, on March 25th. Her body has been taken to the Brahma Kumaris headquarters in Shantivan, Abu Road, for mourners to pay their respects.

The centenarian leader, born Lakshmi in Hyderabad Sindh (now Pakistan), joined the Brahma Kumaris after migrating to India following the Partition. She served as the organisation’s chief administrator since 2021 and was only the second leader to reach such an advanced age, following Dadi Janki who passed away in 2020 at 104. Throughout her life, Dadi Mohini undertook extensive travels, including a 31,000km spiritual pilgrimage in 2006, promoting cultural and moral values, and representing the Brahma Kumaris at international conferences in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Tributes poured in from across the country, including from President Droupadi Murmu, currently on a state visit abroad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. President Murmu noted Dadi Mohini’s significant contribution to her life and described her as a beacon of light for the global organization.
