**Hyderabad, April 8, 2025** – The BJP has lauded the Telangana High Court’s decision to uphold the death penalty for five individuals convicted in the 2013 Dilsukhnagar bomb blast case. Party president G. Kishan Reddy released a statement Tuesday praising the verdict as a strong message against terrorism and violence. He expressed solidarity with the victims and their families, stating the judgement brings closure after twelve years. Reddy also commended the police and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for their investigative efforts.

Rajya Sabha MP K. Laxman echoed these sentiments, calling the High Court’s decision “historic.” He attributed the lack of recent bomb blasts in the country to the Modi government’s strong stance against terrorism and urged the Telangana Congress government to similarly curb terror elements to ensure the safety of the capital region. The High Court’s ruling confirms the NIA court’s original verdict.
