**TIRUNELVELI, April 7, 2025** – A six-year-old boy, M. Madhesh, died after accidentally stepping on a live electric wire in Seethaparpanallur near Tirunelveli on Monday. Police reported that a fallen tree branch had caused a power cable to snap, leaving the live wire exposed. Madhesh suffered fatal electrocution at the scene. Seethaparpanallur police have registered a case.
