**Hyderabad, April 7, 2025** – The annual Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra procession in Hyderabad concluded peacefully on Sunday, April 6th, under tight security measures. Thousands of devotees participated in the event, which saw multiple processions converge at the Hanuman Gymnasium in Sultan Bazaar after passing through various parts of the city.

City Police Commissioner C.V. Anand personally oversaw the operation, utilizing live drone footage and CCTV feeds to coordinate with officers on the ground via radio and WhatsApp. A Joint Command and Control Centre, staffed by officials from various government departments including the police, transport corporation, and municipal corporation, monitored the event in real-time and issued instructions to maintain order.

Approximately 20,000 police personnel were deployed throughout the city to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the procession. The early start of the event, coordinated with the Sri Ramanavami Utsav Committee, and the close collaboration between multiple government agencies contributed to the peaceful conclusion of the celebrations. Senior police officials, including Additional Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) Vikram Singh Mann and Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Joel Davis, were also present to supervise the security and logistical arrangements.
