**New Delhi, April 7, 2025** – A massive fire ripped through a Delhi police storage facility (malkhana) early Sunday morning, destroying over 300 vehicles. The blaze erupted in the Wazirabad area of northeast Delhi, behind the Police Training School in Khajuri Khas.
According to Delhi Fire Service Chief Atul Garg, authorities received a call about the fire in the early hours of the morning. Seven fire tenders were dispatched to the scene and battled the flames until 6 am, finally bringing the fire under control.
A police investigation has been launched, and a case has been registered. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
