The infant, born on April 1st, was revealed in an Instagram post by Meredith, who shared that Carter weighs the same as his father at birth and bears a striking resemblance to him.
The joyous news comes less than a year after the tragic deaths of Johnny and his brother, Matthew, in a suspected drunk-driving accident last August. Meredith had announced her pregnancy during an emotional eulogy for her husband. Carter’s middle name, Michael, is the same as his late father’s.
