**Madurai, Tamil Nadu –** Yerra Srikanth, a 62-year-old CPI(M) State committee member from Khammam, Telangana, passed away on Sunday after suffering a massive heart attack in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Srikanth was in Madurai to attend the party’s 24th Congress. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Party leaders, including Central Committee member Tammineni Veerabhadram and Telangana State committee secretary John Wesley, paid their respects at the hospital. Srikanth was lauded for his dedication to the rights of working-class people in Khammam.
