**Chennai, April 7, 2025** – A 55-year-old administrative assistant with the Greater Chennai Corporation, S. Rajan, died on Sunday after collapsing during a football match in Park Town. Rajan, a resident of Poompuhar Nagar in Kolathur, regularly played football at the Corporation playground on Pallavan Salai. He collapsed during a game and was rushed to Periyar Nagar Government hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Thiru Vi Nagar police have registered a case.
