Mon Apr 07 03:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Clippers Rout Mavericks Behind Zubac’s Perfect Shooting Night

**INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) —** The Los Angeles Clippers dominated the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night, securing a 135-104 victory fueled by a historic performance from Ivica Zubac and stellar scoring from Kawhi Leonard and James Harden.

Zubac achieved an unprecedented feat, going a perfect 11-for-11 from the field for 25 points and 10 rebounds, becoming the first NBA player to accomplish this without a single turnover or miss. This also set a new Clippers franchise record for most made shots without a miss in a single game.

Leonard and Harden each contributed 29 points to the Clippers’ offensive onslaught. The trio combined for 81 points through three quarters, nearly matching the Mavericks’ total of 82. Zubac’s performance also moved him into sole possession of fifth place on the Clippers’ all-time rebounding list.

The Mavericks, led by Anthony Davis’s 27 points and Kai Jones’s 18 (on a perfect 9-for-9 shooting), struggled to keep pace. Davis, however, appeared to suffer from a knee injury in the first half and abdominal discomfort in the second. His ongoing health concerns are a significant factor for the Mavericks, who are now losers of three out of four and are looking increasingly vulnerable following two blowout defeats at the hands of the Clippers.

The victory extends the Clippers’ winning streak to four games and six out of their last seven. The team, currently fighting for a top-six seed, showcased a sense of urgency throughout the game, pulling away decisively after a brief third-quarter rally by the Mavericks. The Clippers now face the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, while the Mavericks will return home to play the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
