**Agra, April 7, 2025** – A man has been arrested in Agra for allegedly harassing and inappropriately touching a Czech tourist visiting the Taj Mahal. According to police, the incident occurred on April 3rd near Shamshan Ghat Road. The woman filed a complaint with the Tourist police station, detailing the alleged harassment which took place around 1 pm.
A thorough investigation, involving the examination of CCTV footage and the deployment of multiple police teams, led to the arrest of Karan Rathore on Sunday. The victim positively identified Rathore, who is now in custody. Assistant Commissioner of Police (Taj Security) Syed Areeb Ahmed confirmed the arrest and the details of the investigation. The accused is facing charges related to sexual harassment.
