**Hyderabad, April 6, 2025** – Temperatures are soaring across Telangana following a recent period of rain. Seven districts have already recorded maximum temperatures exceeding 40°C, according to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS). Nizamabad, Jagtial, Adilabad, and Kumaram Bheem Asifabad led with highs of 40.2°C, while Hyderabad reached 38.5°C.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a further temperature increase of 2°C to 3°C over the next three days. Hyderabad is expected to see partly cloudy skies and hazy mornings, with daytime temperatures around 38°C and nighttime lows around 26°C. The IMD advises residents to take precautions against the rising heat.
