**Bengaluru, Karnataka –** A Karnataka-based startup, Chathur Pravarthan Private Limited, has been awarded a ₹21 lakh grant under the Karnataka government’s “Elevate 2024” scheme. The grant, part of a larger initiative to support innovative startups, was presented to the company by Minister Priyank Kharge at a recent ceremony in Bengaluru.
Chathur Pravarthan, incubated at the ME-RIISE Foundation of Malnad College of Engineering in Hassan, focuses on developing technology-driven solutions for everyday problems. Their current projects include innovative solutions for solar panel maintenance and cleaning, as well as ventures in the healthcare sector.
The Elevate grant program, run by the Department of Electronics, IT, BT, and Science and Technology, provides one-time grants of up to ₹50 lakh to promising startups. Chathur Pravarthan is one of 101 startups to receive funding this year. A. Geetha Kiran, CEO of ME-RIISE Foundation, and Mohana Lakshmi J., CTO of Chathur Pravarthan, accepted the award. The program aims to identify and nurture innovative startups, providing them with the resources needed to flourish.
