Sun Apr 06 15:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Siraj’s “Mian Magic” Fuels Gujarat Titans Victory, Achieves IPL Century

**Hyderabad, India** – Mohammad Siraj delivered a sensational bowling performance for the Gujarat Titans (GT) against his former team, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), on Sunday. In a stunning display at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Siraj claimed four wickets for just 17 runs in his four-over spell. His victims included Abhishek Sharma (18), Travis Head (8), Ankit Sharma (18), and Simarjeet Singh (0).

This performance marks Siraj’s best bowling figures in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and a significant milestone in his career: he reached the 100-wicket mark in the IPL. The 31-year-old now boasts 102 wickets from 97 matches, surpassing the record previously held by Zaheer Khan (100 wickets in 99 matches). Siraj is the 26th bowler to achieve this feat in the IPL and is jointly the seventh-fastest Indian pacer to reach the 100-wicket milestone. Only Harshal Patel and Bhuvneshwar Kumar achieved the milestone faster among Indian pacers.

Siraj, who hails from Hyderabad and debuted in the IPL with SRH in 2017 before joining Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2018, is playing for GT for the first time. His exceptional bowling restricted SRH to 152/8. Nitish Kumar Reddy top-scored for SRH with 31 runs.

Gujarat Titans’ victory was further aided by strong performances from Yash Dayal and Sai Kishore, who each took two wickets. The win underscores Siraj’s impact, solidifying his status as one of the IPL’s most formidable bowlers.
