**Mumbai, April 5, 2025** – The State Bank of India (SBI) today released the preliminary examination results for its 2025 Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment drive. The results, including cutoff marks, are available on the SBI website, sbi.co.in. This recruitment aims to fill 600 vacancies, comprising 586 regular positions and 14 backlog positions.

The preliminary exam was held on March 8th, 16th, 24th, and 26th. Candidates can access their results by logging into the SBI website using their registration number/roll number and date of birth/password. A direct link to the results is also available on the website.

Successful candidates will proceed to the main examination, scheduled for April/May 2025, the exact date and time to be announced shortly. This stage involves an objective test worth 250 marks. The selection process concludes with a psychometric test, group exercise, and interview. Selected candidates will receive a starting monthly salary of Rs 41,960.

Eligibility requirements include a graduation degree from a recognized university and age between 21 and 30 years. The SBI provided a range of expected cutoff marks based on previous years’ results, offering guidance to candidates.
