**Washington, D.C./International –** Hundreds of thousands of people across the United States and Europe rallied Saturday in a coordinated show of defiance against the Trump administration and its controversial policies, spearheaded by advisor Elon Musk. Dubbed the “Hands Off” rallies, the demonstrations, estimated to include over 250,000 participants nationwide and numerous international gatherings, marked one of the largest single-day mobilizations opposing the current administration.

The White House defended the administration’s actions, claiming that the President is protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid for eligible beneficiaries, while the Democrats’ proposed policies would bankrupt these programs.
