**Bhadradri, Andhra Pradesh, April 6, 2025** – The Bhadradri Rama Temple witnessed a spectacular celestial wedding ceremony (Kalyanam) of Lord Rama and Sita on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami. The meticulously planned event, held on Sunday, saw the culmination of elaborate preparations.
The Tirukalyana Mahotsavam commenced at 10:30 AM in a beautifully crafted Kalyana Mandapam at Mithila Stadium. The main wedding ceremony took place during the auspicious Abhijit Lagna in the afternoon.
Over 1800 police personnel ensured smooth conduct and security for the massive gathering. The temple administration made provisions for devotees, including 200,000 laddus and 200 quintals of prasadam (holy food). The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) deployed 197 special buses from the Khammam region to facilitate easy access to Bhadradri.
The upcoming Pattabhisheka Mahotsavam (coronation ceremony) on Monday will be graced by the presence of the Governor, Jishnu Dev Varma. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) also presented silk clothes to Lord Rama at noon on Sunday as part of the celebrations. The event was live telecast by ABN. Other Rama Navami celebrations took place in various parts of the state, including Ontimitta.
