**Ayodhya, [Date]** – Ram Navami celebrations commenced in Ayodhya today with a massive influx of devotees from across India and abroad. The festival began with a sacred dip in the Sarayu River. Ghats along the river are overflowing with devotees chanting “Jai Shri Ram” as they partake in the ritual bath. Following the Sarayu snan (ritual bath), pilgrims are proceeding to significant religious sites including Nageshwar Nath Temple, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and the newly constructed Ram Temple.
Authorities have deployed significant security measures at the ghats, including the deployment of water police, SDRF, and NDRF personnel. Long queues of devotees are visible outside the Ram Temple, where darshan (worship) is underway. Hanuman Garhi is also witnessing a large gathering of devotees.
In a unique initiative, a trial run of a drone-based system was conducted on Saturday, successfully spraying Sarayu water on devotees at Ram Path. This innovative approach will be implemented again on Ram Navami, offering a novel way for devotees to be blessed with the holy water. The event is expected to continue throughout the day, with thousands expected to participate.
