**Ayodhya, [Date]:** The holy city of Ayodhya is witnessing a massive influx of devotees celebrating Ram Navami 2025. The festival began with thousands of pilgrims from across India and abroad taking a sacred dip in the Sarayu River. Ghats along the river are overflowing with devotees chanting “Jai Shree Ram” as they perform their ritualistic bath.
Following their dip, pilgrims are making their way to significant religious sites including Nageshwar Nath Temple, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhavan, and the newly constructed Ram Temple. Long queues are reported outside the Ram Temple, and similarly large crowds are gathering at Hanuman Garhi.
Authorities have implemented stringent security measures along the Sarayu River, deploying water police, SDRF, and NDRF personnel to manage the massive crowds.
In a unique initiative, a trial run was conducted on Saturday using drones to shower devotees with holy Sarayu water. This innovative approach, a first of its kind, is set to continue throughout Ram Navami, offering a spectacular and memorable experience for pilgrims. The drone shower was successfully tested on the Ram Path in the evening.
