**Bangkok, Thailand** – Russian rapper Pasha Technik (real name Pavel Ivlev) has died at the age of 40 in a Thai hospital, according to the “Vyzhivshie” project supporting former drug addicts. The rapper, known for his provocative lyrics and eccentric persona, had been in critical condition following a severe drug overdose.
Reports indicate Technik suffered from pneumonia, sepsis, multi-organ failure, and acute respiratory distress syndrome. He was placed in a medically induced coma and his condition was deemed too critical by Thai doctors to allow transport back to Russia. Prior to his death, he had experienced clinical death and, according to his ex-wife, his heart had to be restarted.
