ANANTAPUR, INDIA – Paritala Sunitha, MLA from Rapthadu and widow of former minister Paritala Ravindra, has accused former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of involvement in her husband’s murder. Speaking to reporters in Anantapur on Thursday, Sunitha reiterated that the CBI had also questioned Jagan in connection with the case.

Her comments came in the wake of upcoming visit by Jagan Mohan Reddy to the district, and in response to recent statements made by the brothers of former MLA Topudurti Prakash Reddy. Sunitha sharply criticized the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders for engaging in caste and death politics, urging them to focus on the facts of the case.

She questioned why Prakash Reddy’s brothers were only discussing the “TV bomb” incident and not the “car bomb” incident, noting their alleged involvement and potential imprisonment for their role in the latter. She accused them of having a history of violence, referencing 45 people allegedly implicated in those incidents and challenged Jagan to respond before entering the district.

Sunitha further alleged that Jagan’s visit aimed to incite conflict in peaceful villages, citing the examples of the Gangulu and Sane families in Maddalacheruvu and Kanumukkala villages, respectively. She expressed grief over the suffering these families, along with the Paritala family, faced due to factional violence, questioning why Jagan hadn’t provided them justice during his time in power. She directly challenged Jagan to ensure justice for these families by offering them MLA tickets in 2029 if he truly cared for them.
