**Mysuru, April 3, 2025** – A new book by renowned theatre director and Gandhian Prasanna Heggodu, titled “Acting and Beyond,” will be launched this Sunday, April 6th, at 5 p.m. The event, hosted by the Socialist Study Centre Trust, will take place at the Indian Institute of Educational Theatre within Hardwick PU College.
The book, described as a deep dive into the core principles of performance, explores the fundamental elements of truth and imitation in acting. It emphasizes the craft’s mechanics over superficial theatrics.
