**New Delhi, April 3, 2025** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) is reminding candidates that the deadline for correcting National Common Entrance Test (NCET) applications is tonight, April 3rd, at 11:50 PM. Applicants can make changes to their forms on the official NTA website.
This final opportunity allows for corrections in several fields, including candidate name, parent names, class 10th/12th details, date of birth, gender, category, and sub-category/PwBD status. Candidates may also change their exam city, but only within the same state or union territory.
However, the NTA emphasizes that **no other changes will be permitted**, including mobile number, email address, address, photograph, and signature. Any necessary corrections must be submitted before the deadline. Applicable additional fees must be paid via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
The NCET, a computer-based test (CBT) scheduled for April 29th, 2025, is for admission to the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at various institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and government colleges for the 2025-26 academic session. The exam will be held across 178 cities in 13 different languages.
The syllabus covers a General Test (including General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and reasoning sections) and Teaching Aptitude (covering various subject areas). The exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The ITEP is a dual major program, combining education with a chosen discipline.
