**Hyderabad, April 3, 2025** – A bomb threat emailed to the Medchal District Collectorate in Shamirpet on Thursday morning proved to be a hoax, Cyberabad police confirmed. The anonymous email, received around 7:30 a.m., threatened an explosion at 3:30 p.m. Police described the email as containing “teasing religious references” at its beginning and end.
A joint team of approximately 15 police officials thoroughly searched the Collectorate complex, finding no suspicious materials. Investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend the sender of the threatening email.
