**Hyderabad, April 3, 2025** – Telangana BJP president and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy has called on Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to comply with a Supreme Court order protecting 400 acres of forest land in Kancha Gachibowli. Reddy praised the Supreme Court’s intervention, which granted an immediate stay on activities threatening the area’s rich biodiversity, including the vulnerable Star Tortoise.
Despite the court order, Reddy alleges that tree felling continued. He urged the Chief Minister to release those arrested for protesting the alleged anti-environment actions of the Telangana government. The minister highlighted the importance of preserving the area’s ecosystem.
