**Mysuru, April 3, 2025** – Ninety-three students graduated from Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy on Thursday, marking the institution’s 32nd graduation day. The ceremony saw 20 students receive doctorate degrees, seven complete their M.Pharm, and 66 graduate with pharmacy degrees.

Addressing the graduates, Kodagu University Vice-Chancellor Ashok S. Alur emphasized their crucial role in India’s aspiration to become a developed nation. He highlighted the graduates as part of India’s bright young population, stating that they must lead the charge in realizing the country’s demographic dividend.

Dr. Alur outlined key areas for national development, including boosting agricultural production to 360 million tonnes, ensuring reliable electricity access nationwide, and prioritizing education, healthcare, information and communication technology (ICT), and strategic sectors like space technology. He stressed the interconnectedness of education and healthcare and the potential of ICT to bridge educational gaps and generate national wealth.

The Vice-Chancellor urged graduates to identify their passions, commit to lifelong learning, and foster strong partnerships between research and development, academia, industry, and government to achieve India’s developmental goals. The event was attended by college president B.M. Subraya, among other dignitaries.
