**Hyderabad, April 2, 2025** – Motorists traveling on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway (NH-65) are enjoying reduced toll charges following a revision implemented on April 1st. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced the decrease, impacting three toll plazas along the 181.5 km stretch between Dandumalkapuram and Nandigama.
The reduction, applicable until March 2026, sees a ₹15 decrease for one-way trips and ₹30 for two-way trips for light motor vehicles and four-wheelers at the Pantangi toll plaza. Similar reductions have been applied across all vehicle classes at Pantangi, Korlapahad, and Chillakallu toll plazas.
The ₹1,740 crore highway, built under a build-operate-transfer model by GMR Infra, was maintained and tolled by the concessionaire from December 2012 to June 2024, before the NHAI took over collections.
