**TIRUPATI, April 1, 2025** – The annual Brahmotsavams festival in Tirupati continued Tuesday with a spectacular procession featuring Lord Kodandarama. Thousands of devotees gathered to witness the deity’s journey on the “Hanumantha Vahanam” in the morning, mounted atop his devotee Hanuman. Later in the evening, the Lord proceeded on the “Gaja Vahanam,” a majestic elephant-shaped carrier.

The day’s events also included a “Snapana Tirumanjanam,” a celestial bath for the idols of Sita, Rama, and Lakshmana, using milk, curd, turmeric, sandal, and tender coconut water. Prominent figures including the Pedda Jeeyangar and Chinna Jeeyangar, the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala-Tirupati temples, and Deputy Executive Officer Naga Ratna, participated in the processions. The sixth day’s celebrations were a highlight of the nine-day festival.
