Mon Mar 31 13:44:28 UTC 2025: ## State Fair Worker Arrested for Allegedly Poisoning Coworker’s Soda with Superglue

**West Allis, WI** – A Wisconsin State Fair Park employee, Joseph Ross, has been arrested and charged with a Class I felony after allegedly contaminating a coworker’s soda with superglue. According to a criminal complaint, Ross is accused of adding cyanoacrylate, the active ingredient in Gorilla Super Glue, to a coworker’s Coca-Cola can approximately two to three weeks prior to reporting the incident.

The victim, identified only as JH, reported the incident to police after noticing a strong chemical odor and taste in her drink, which caused her to become ill. Surveillance footage reportedly shows Ross wearing latex gloves and adding a liquid from a small tube into the victim’s soda can.

During an interview with police, Ross admitted to placing a “supplement” in his coworker’s drink. A subsequent search of Ross’s office uncovered latex gloves and a container of Gorilla Super Glue.

Ross is facing charges that carry a maximum penalty of three years and six months in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. He is currently being held at the Criminal Justice Facility. The investigation is ongoing.
