Mon Mar 31 18:36:09 UTC 2025: ## Chennai Police Recover 25 Stolen Phones in Thiruverkadu Case
**CHENNAI, April 1, 2025** – Thiruverkadu police have arrested two men in connection with the theft of 25 mobile phones and three laptops from workers at two separate locations in Chennai.
The suspects, identified as A. Janardhanan (27) from Cuddalore district and V. Ramachandran (36) from Tiruchi district, were apprehended following investigations into two separate incidents.
The first incident occurred on March 2nd, when 15 mobile phones and five purses were stolen from 30 wedding hall workers sleeping in a rented house in Ayanambakkam. The workers had left the main door open.
A second complaint was filed on March 20th, reporting the theft of mobile phones from over 40 workers at an AC service center in Laxmi Nagar, Thiruverkadu. These workers were also sleeping with the building’s door open.
Police recovered the stolen items during the arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
