**Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, April 1, 2025** – A mine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, triggered a brief exchange of fire between Indian security forces and what locals claim was Pakistani fire, officials confirmed late Wednesday.
The incident occurred early Wednesday morning in a forward area of the Krishna Gati sector. While officials reported the blast happened under suspicious circumstances and that Indian troops responded with retaliatory fire, no injuries or casualties were reported on the Indian side. However, local residents allege that Pakistani forces also engaged in firing. Investigations are ongoing.
